After-golf activities in Monaco

The image of Monaco is one of luxury; the Principality likes to keep it that way. On the other hand, Monaco develops into a destination for everybody. Golfers will find Monaco interesting because of its after-golf activities.

Monaco is not a golf destination. There is one golf course in the Principality; golfers mainly visit Monaco after a round of golf on one of the courses in the vicinity of Monaco. Yearly about 5 million people visit here on a day trip, allured by the glamour.
However, there is more to Monaco than just glitter and glamour. This coming season, it wants to offer tourists many things that will make it attractive for everybody. The Monte Carlo ballet company celebrates its twentieth anniversary; all the more reason for special anniversary performances directed by choreographer-manager Jean-Christophe Maillot.
There will be special concerts in the Cour d’Honneur of the Royal Palace to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Principality’s Philharmonic Orchestra. The convention centre Grimaldi Forum Monaco will host many of the upcoming events. This centre opened five years ago and celebrates its anniversary with special activities. According to Nathalie Pinto, Grimaldi staff member, the exhibition “New York, New York” will definitely be the highlight. This exhibition runs from July 14 until September 10 and is organised in cooperation with the Guggenheim Museum. It will give an overview of the collection of this New York museum.
Next to new initiatives, Monaco also features activities that have been successful for years. Undoubtedly, the Formula 1 Grand Prix in the streets of Monaco ranks high on the list. This event yearly attracts loads of people.
To put it briefly: after-golf activities in abundance in Monaco this coming year.
