Suitable for every handicapper
The 6560 (Par 72) championship golf course is suitable for golfers or all levels thanks to five different tee-boxes on each hole. Of the black "tiger" the course is a real challenge for professionals, but provided you use the right tee, the course is also fun to play for high handicappers. The course was designed by the famous Finnish golf course architect Lasse Pekka Tilander. The former top amateur and member of the Finnish national team has created more than twenty jobs in five countries, including masterpieces such as Pärnu Bay Golf Links in Estonia and Sand Valley in Poland. Tilander, who is also a fully qualified PGA Professional, describes the Gorki golf course as an "inland links course" with wide fairways and large bunkers.
A generous driving range, putting and pitching greens and three practice courses in combination with the golf academy led by South African PGA Professional AJ Steyn (golf director) offer an opportunity to improve or refine your game. In the spacious clubhouse with two floors, guests will find a well-stocked Pro Shop, a meeting room on the second floor and a playroom for children. The restaurant serves Russian and international dishes, which can be served on two terraces overlooking the 1st or 18th green.
The Gorki Hotel is the only golf hotel in the St. Petersburg region and has 26 standard rooms, 4 family rooms and two luxury suites with panoramic views of the entire golf course. In July 2019, the hotel opened a spa with an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, Finnish sauna and massage rooms.
Gorki Golf & Resort can organize complete golf trips to St. Petersburg with city tours and all transfers to and from the airport.
