I have played this course many times when I have been visiting the nearby town of Conil de la Frontera. First as a 9 hole in 2006 and as an 18 hole since 2007. It is a testing course but not to an extent that would demoralise a high handicapper. The original (outside) 9 can punish slicers and requires a steady hand. The new (inside) 9 is a bit more forgiving but has some challenging water features. It is a course to suit players of all levels. The surroundings are beautiful with mature olive trees and pines that attract a wide variety of wild birds, including several species of raptor. There is an excellent restaurant with a terrace that overlooks the first tee and all staff are very welcoming. A superb place to play a round of golf with a much more relaxed atmosphere than the couses in nearby Novo Sancti Petri. Go once and I think you'll be as hooked on the place as I am. |

I played this time for the 3rd year in a row, but still lost 7 balls because of the unknowns in the course, so be prepared |
