A thrilling and beautiful course.
Kelly Taylor, re the tragic death of the Irish gentleman - a human life, a family tragedy and an event of historical significance in Perth WA is at least as important as the golf club itself.
RIP, Michael.

It's a wonderful golf course. This business about it being haunted is laughable IMO. All that is true is that a young man died on the golf course in the 1930s. Look hard enough online and you can see his photograph and newspaper articles about the case as reported in the media way back when. If that's your thing. Mmmkay?
Yes his death was torture and the young man's last moments must have been
agony, but get over it! It happened about 80 years ago and it had NOTHING to do with any member of the Mount Golf Club. Nothing!
Nobody's haunting the golf course. I've been there and never felt spooked.
It's the most charming, affluent, scenic and beautiful golf course I've ever been to.
The history of the club and its reputation today is also much more important than the legacy of one young Irish dude who has been dead going on a century.
And "Clootie" ("Satan") is not a Gaelic word.

Anybody know if there's any truth in the story that Mount Lawley Golf Club course is haunted?
What's with hole number two being named after the Gaelic word for 'Satan'? (Clootie's Elbow.)
